I visited a hotel that was very quiet, so i decided to record my short elevator ride coming down about five floors.

Recorded with a sony ecm stereo microphone. It's hard to tell what this slam is, which makes it very versatile. I'm pretty sure, however, that it is in fact a distant car door slam.
